Delete Your Twiikle Account

Twiikle, Inc. — Account Deletion Instructions
Effective Date: July 2026  |  Last Updated: July 2026  |  Version: 1.0

Overview

This page explains how to delete your Twiikle account and what happens to your data when you do. Twiikle is operated by Twiikle, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation.

You can request account deletion in two ways:

Both options follow the same data-handling policy described below.

Option A — Delete From the Twiikle App

The fastest way. Open the Twiikle app on your device and follow these steps:

1

Open Settings

Tap your profile tab at the bottom right, then tap the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right corner to open Settings.

2

Tap "Delete Account"

Scroll to the very bottom of the Settings screen. Below the "About" section you will see the underlined Delete Account link. Tap it to enter the deletion flow.

3

Choose a reason (Step 1 of 3)

Select one of the reasons: Privacy concerns, Not enough content, Found a better platform, Taking a break, Too many ads, or Other. If you choose "Other," you can add a short note.

4

Review what will be deleted (Step 2 of 3)

You will see a summary of what happens to your profile, videos, comments, and balance, and the 90-day grace period.

5

Confirm (Step 3 of 3)

If you signed up with email and password, enter your current password to confirm. If you signed in with Apple or Google, no password is required. Tap Delete My Account. You will be signed out immediately.

Option B — Delete by Email (No App Required)

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete your account manually.

Send an email to:

privacy@twiikle.com

Subject line: Account Deletion Request

Please include the following in your email so we can verify ownership and locate your account:

We may reply requesting additional verification (for example, a reply from the same email address the account is registered under). We will complete your deletion request within 30 days of successful verification, subject to the data-handling policy below.

Partial Data Deletion (Without Closing Your Account)

If you want to delete specific data from your Twiikle account without closing the account itself, we support that too. This is separate from the full account deletion flows above.

What You Can Delete In-App (Immediately, No Request Needed)

These self-service deletions take effect immediately and follow the same 90-day storage retention policy described below.

What You Can Delete by Email (For Anything Else)

To request deletion of specific data that cannot be removed in-app — for example, aggregated view history, saved products, individual likes or follows, or category-specific data — email us:

Send an email to:

privacy@twiikle.com

Subject line: Partial Data Deletion Request

Include in your email:

We will complete verified partial deletion requests within 30 days. Your account, followers, videos, and balances remain fully active. You do not need to close your account to exercise this right.

This right is also available to residents of jurisdictions with data-subject rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and equivalent) — see our Privacy Policy §9 for the full list.

What Happens to Your Data (Full Account Deletion)

Twiikle uses a soft-delete + 90-day grace period model. This protects you against accidental deletion, covers affiliate commission settlement windows, and prevents evasion of safety enforcement.

Timeline

  1. Immediately (Day 0): Your account is deactivated. Your profile, videos, comments, and product tags are hidden from other users. You are signed out. Your username is temporarily reserved and cannot be searched or interacted with. Visitors to your profile see a "This account has been deleted" notice.
  2. Grace period (Day 1 – Day 90): You can restore your account at any time within 90 days by signing back in. All content and balances are preserved during this window.
  3. Permanent deletion (Day 90): An automated job permanently deletes your account data. This step cannot be undone.

Unspent Balances

Any Wiikle (utility credit) balance is forfeited when your account is deactivated and cannot be restored after Day 90. Any Cash (income) balance that has been paid out will remain in your Stripe Connect account under Stripe's own policies; balances below the payout threshold at the time of deletion may be forfeited. Please withdraw any Cash balance before requesting deletion if you wish to receive it.

Restoring Your Account

Within the 90-day grace period, simply open the Twiikle app (or visit twiikle.com) and sign in with the same credentials. Your account is reactivated automatically — no support ticket is needed.

After Day 90, the account cannot be restored. You may sign up again with the same email, but the previous username, followers, videos, balances, and history will not be recovered.
